Read with us
Our book group just finished Ladder to the Light by Stephen Charleston . We had wonderful discussions exploring the Native American understanding of the Spirit. We're taking a break for Lent but will pick up a new title after Easter. If you have a title to suggest or if you would like to participate in our reading group, let us know. We begin at 6:30 on Wednesdays by zoom. You are welcome to join even if you haven't done the reading. Email Vicki for the link.
Join us & Serve with us:
We are regularly coming together as a parish to support the food and families of Nourish Bridgeport. Sign up with the office. On the third Thursday of the month, we will be preparing and serving dinner-to-go for up to 100 needy folks. You may choose to work 3 to 5pm or 5:30 to 7pm or the full 4 hours. Our next date is February 15th. Please email Vicki if you want to do kitchen prep or serving.
The food pantry also can use volunteers on Mondays and Wednesdays packing groceries, registering clients, and loading groceries. You may sign up by emailing the office above or sign up directly with Nourish Bridgeport's website here.

Learn with us
Adult Ed classes are suspended for now but will resume.
Meditate with us
Join us for weekly and monthly meditation sessions! In good weather, Bruce Nichols leads an outdoor meditation on Monday afternoons weather permitting. Once a month, Deborah Swann leads a Zoom meditation sponsored by the Trumbull Senior Center. Contact us for more info.
Youth and Children
We want everyone to grow in love and feel free to be their full, fabulous selves, especially our children and youth. Kids-- along with their wiggling, laughing, crying, and noise-- are most welcome just as they are. We have activities and toys for them during worship (due to Covid-19, we have suspended our regular Sunday School programming). Join us for family events like a visit to a local farm to celebrate St. Francis, bonfires, and our annual Christmas Pageant. We are also planning in the new year to get an LGBTQ+ teen group going. Youth often serve as mentors to our children in important ways. Reach out with your ideas!
Sitting & Walking Meditation
Join us every Monday on person or Zoom at 1:15pm for walking and sitting meditation. We will do one walking meditation and one sitting meditation. You may choose to zoom from the comfort of your own home! NO previous experience necessary for either meditation experience!
