What's happening
Join us & Serve with us:
Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Day
Monday January 16, 11am.
Join us for an online group reading of the Letter from a Birmingham Jail written by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to his fellow clergymen while he was jailed in Birmingham after a protest. The letter explains his rationale for the pressing need for the nonviolent movement for Civil Rights and for people of goodwill to act to end racial injustice. We will join by Zoom and honor the martyr for racial justice by sharing the reading of his moving words aloud. Join us on zoom.
Nourish Bridgeport
We are regularly coming together as a parish to support the food and families of Nourish Bridgeport. Sign up with the office. Often, on a Thursday, we will be preparing and serving dinner-to-go for up to 100 needy folks. You may choose to work 3 to 5pm or 5:30 to 7pm or the full 4 hours. The food pantry also can use volunteers on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:30am to 2:00pm packing groceries, and from 2 to 6 registering and loading groceries. You may sign up for 2 hour shifts. Next up: Thursday March 2, 2023.

Youth and Children
We want everyone to grow in love and feel free to be their full, fabulous selves, especially our children and youth. Kids-- along with their wiggling, laughing, crying, and noise-- are most welcome just as they are. We have activities and toys for them during worship (due to Covid-19, we have suspended our regular Sunday School programming). Join us for family events like a visit to a local farm to celebrate St. Francis, bonfires, and our annual Christmas Pageant. We are also planning in the new year to get an LGBTQ+ teen group going. Youth often serve as mentors to our children in important ways. Reach out with your ideas!

Sitting & Walking Meditation
Join us every Monday on person or Zoom at 1:15pm for walking and sitting meditation. We will do one walking meditation and one sitting meditation. You may choose to zoom from the comfort of your own home! NO previous experience necessary for either meditation experience!
Contact us for more information.
Blessing of the Animals

Calling all creatures and their humans! On this day we celebrate the peacemaker and humble Saint Francis with a Blessing of the Animals! 9:30 service outdoors, held every year on the Sunday closest to October 4th! This year it is on October 9.
